WhatPulse detects xplayer's input i.e. clicks/keys but not uptime.

Hello all,

I'm a novice Linux user and recently installed whatpulse ver. 2.8.1. on Linux Mint Sonya x64 to track time spent using certain apps.

Problem is with the default movie player of Mint (xplayer) it does not show up at all in the list of applications on the uptime tab but it DOES show up on input tab. Is the behaviour normal? I'm attaching a printscreen for reference.

Taking this opportunity, i would like to ask the following 2 questions:

1. Can i manually add applications for tracking, in case WhatPulse doesn't automatically detect them, the same way i can ignore them?
2. Can i manually add uptime to certain apps to compensate for time not logged?

Thanks
